My New Question!!!

Last week, in Reggie's class, we talked about the future. Nowadays we face lots of problems:pollutions, food, weather, and etc. All of these problems are very important to us. But, to me, the most serious thing is the food problem. I don't think we have enough food. Even in this moment, somewhere in Africa or in the world, some people are dying because of the lack of food.
What is, do you think, most serious problem now?

Hi Mars,
I am also happy to meet you in your blog. I think your question is very important and serious to our world. I perfectly agree with you. These days we are facing the food crisis. especially, the third world, for example, africa. We have to focus on the contribution of the food. Actually We have enough food in the world. the problem about the food crisis is that rich countries have enough food and don't give them to poor countries.
This is happening in the world.
It is unfair.

Hello, Mars!

This is Gracie in class 1. It's good to post my comments on your blog. I think your question is a good question to think about. In my case, all the problems come from overpopulation. The earth has too many populations worldwide. Especially, China, India, and African countries. I think some countires really need to educate people about birth control. To maintain the proper number of population is really necessary to keep the world happy together. Then we can solve more easily serious problems like energy crisis, food shortage, water shortage, etc.

Hello, Mars~~!
I'm happy to visit your blog for the first time. Owing to Nicole's assingment,I kept on thinking of some serious problems in the world. I agree with you in some ways. Food is one of serious problems. But I think the poverty, the lack of food, overpopulation and global warming are all connected closely. In the center of them there is an invisible huge monster, what is called, human selfishness. The most painful and serious problem is the hunger in the 3rd world. Whenever I left my meal on the plate in cafeteria, I feel guilty. Regardless of my efforts to eat up,I can not share food with poor people in the world. I don't think my donation can solve that problem. All over the world we need a systematic and well-organised food supporting system. And then we have to educate the people in those countries. What can I do now for them? I think we should aware of their lives and be concern of their sufferings.

Hi Mars,
I think that Nature mentioned some good ideas for the food shortage problem. I actually think that population is key to all the other problems we face. Fewer people need less food and fuel they also polute less and take up less land. We need to limit ourselves to one baby now that our lives last so much longer than ever before in history.
